Projected Programs
and Special
Events
We
are looking forward to
a very exciting schedule events
for 2007-2008. Our
pledge is to continue to offer top quality programs as well as
social activities. If you’ve been thinking of becoming a
member, we invite you to join. If you are renewing your
membership, we thank you in advance.
Our
Sunday morning breakfasts continue to be well received
with guest speakers providing both thought provoking and
stimulating topics for discussion. Our first Sunday meeting is
scheduled for October 14th.
On November 18th we
will be hosting our paid up membership breakfast. Additional
breakfast are scheduled for December16th,
March16th, and May 4th.
The
men’s club, will
once again host the tradiditional Shabbaton on Saturday October
20th adding a unique twist to
this years event. We
are proud to be a sponsor of the ever popular scholar in
residence program which will be the main focal point of the
Shabbaton. It is a
day of prayer, discussion and involvement
where new friendships are forged that will last a life
time. It is a “getting to know you” kind of day ending with
a moving Havdalah service followed by dinner and dancing.
The membership
committee will once again sponsor a new temple member get
acquainted brunch. It is an opportunity for the board of
directors to meet and greet new and or prospective men’s club
members on a more personal level.
The Men’s Club Bowling League, known as the “Sinai
Rollers” take
to the alleys on the 2nd and 4th
Tuesday of the month.
Look for our 2nd annual game
night to be held on February 6th.
Our Men’s Club Shabbat service will take
place on March 14th. It is a time for the men’s club board to
thank not only their members for
their support but the congregation as well.
We have a few
surprises up or sleeve
for an April event that
you won’t
want to miss.
The 4th annual GOLF OUTING will
take place in May. Every year the number of golfers taking to
the links has grown and so have the door prizes. This year
should be no exception.
We have a lot planned to both educate and
entertain you. Don’t miss out on the action.
