Temple Sinai located in beautiful Sarasota , Florida , is a vibrant Reform Jewish congregation that is growing both in quantity and in quality.  We are a warm, caring, and welcoming community.  Our members find joy in their connections with each other and with God.  We truly are a House of Learning, A House of Prayer and a House of Gathering for our people.  

Our rabbi, Geoffrey Huntting, is admired and respected; he has been with us for over 16 years.  His leadership and dedication have been instrumental in creating the special family that we are.  Our cantor, Hazzan Cliff Abramson graduated top of his class from the HUC-JIR School of Sacred Music.  He has a beautiful voice and a wonderful manner.  We are blessed to have them both.  

Our professional staff also includes Rachel Keren , Youth Education Director of our excellent Religious and Hebrew Schools , Bethany Leinwebber, Director of Early Childhood Education, and our Administrator, Wendy Good, a “Jill-of-all-trades” who’s always there when we need her.  She leads an excellent hardworking office staff that is attentive to our needs.  

Our sisterhood, The Women of Sinai and our Temple Sinai Men’s Club support the temple and offer our members many opportunities for enrichment and camaraderie.  

The adult learning and social action committees offer a wide range of educational and outreach activities in which to be involved.  

We are fortunate to be in our new synagogue located in a park-like setting.  We have created the kind of home that expresses the needs and desires of our growing congregation.
