Note from the President: Rabbi Geoff Huntting

Dear Congregants:

I want to take this opportunity to address any concerns that you may have as to the rabbinic coverage for Temple Sinai since June 30th.

As of July 1st, Rabbi Geoff Huntting has accepted the role as our Full Time Rabbi. He has assured me, that he will serve in this position for as long as it takes for our search committee to recruit an appropriate successor.

Rabbi Huntting will be officiating at all holidays, Shabbat services, B’nai Mitzvah and life cycle events. We can expect interesting and thought provoking sermons from the Bimah. He will also be sharing pastoral duties with Chazzan, Cliff Abramson. Congregants in need of counseling or hospital visits needn’t worry.

Please rest assured, that it is business as usual at Temple Sinai. We have a warm and diverse membership, a wonderful facility, a full array of engaging programs, a philosophy towards Judaism that accentuates our uniqueness, a committed and involved Board of Trustees, and a dedicated and talented clergy. These are all of the necessary ingredients to ensure a strong Temple experience.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me.

We have a lot to be thankful for, and I am very optimistic for the future of Temple Sinai.

Sincerely,

Gary Kravitz
President
Temple Sinai
