Our Shabbat services are both engaging and inspirational. Rabbi Huntting and Chazzan Abramson are masterful at designing a liturgical experience that challenges both our minds and our hearts. We are a singing congregation and regularly add new songs and melodies to our repertoire. On Friday nights we use creative services compiled by Rabbi Huntting. On Shabbat mornings we now use “Mishkan T’Filah,” the Reform movement’s new siddur.
Erev Shabbat/Friday Night
Erev Shabbat Services begin at 6:00 p.m.
Welcome Receptions precede the Service at 5:15 p.m.
Our signature Rhythm and Jews Service happens (almost) every first Friday of the month. Conducted by Rabbi Huntting and Chazzan Abramson, this is when we do birthday blessings and involve students in leading the service. The Bruno Trio accompany the Chazzan in what have become our Shabbat favorites.
Check Upcoming Events for future dates.
Please check the temple calendar or contact the Temple office at 941-924-1802 to confirm the schedule for a specific Friday evening.
Our Shabbat Morning Service is held every Saturday at 10:00 a.m. When there is no Bar or Bat Mitzvah, a Shabbat minyan meets for an intimate worship experience that includes a Torah study discussion.
