Temple Sinai To Launch Torah Scribe and Restoration Project

Temple Sinai is poised to launch a powerful and inspiring Torah Project, a once in a lifetime opportunity to personally connect with our precious Torah scrolls while also restoring them.

Temple Sinai has undertaken this task with Sofer On Site who will provide a scribe who writes and also propels the energy and beauty of scribing a Torah to others. The Torah services are created to enrich the participants to the highest level of inspiration.

This unique, educational experience is open to individuals and families. On four days during the spring and fall, the Temple congregants and members of the Jewish Community in Sarasota/Manatee will join together for Torah services, scribing, special events and uplifting gatherings. These spiritual activities combine to create an energizing, enriching, long lasting Jewish moment to share with our spouses, children and grandchildren. To inscribe our Torah is a unique honor and privilege.

The first Torah Project takes place Sunday, March 11, 9:30 a.m.to 5:00 p.m. at Temple Sinai, 4631 South Lockwood Ridge Road, Sarasota.
