We Honor our Volunteer for the Month of March – Stan Liner

Stan and his wife Betty moved to Sarasota eleven years ago.  Almost immediately they began volunteering at Temple Sinai and within the Sarasota County.  Stan has given countless hours to numerous Food Festivals and Annual Mitzvah Day activities.  He served as a Men’s Club Board Member, and is the group’s ‘Sunday Breakfast Chef’.  He does the purchasing for our Erev Shabbat Welcome Receptions, and is an usher during the High Holy Day Worship Services.  Stan is a volunteer at Selby Botanical Gardens, Mote Aquarium, Feed the Hungry, and Animal Services where he walks and trains rescue dogs.  He is also involved in political canvassing.  ‘Where does he get his boundless energy’!?!  If there is such a thing  as leisure time in Stan’s life, he has many hobbies including fishing, tennis, collecting minatures, raising plants, wire-art, selling on EBay, and most recently raising air plants.  The Board thanks Stan for his commitment to Temple Sinai. Throughout the month of March Stan and Betty will enjoy parking in the reserved parking space provided by an anonymous donor.
